Anyone hosting a service or distributing advertising on MXit will need to agree to the terms and conditions of our Business Partner Policy. This may be amended from time to time, but the essentials will stay the same; no drugs, gambling, alcohol, tobacco or explicit content.
Jargon busters
WAP site – WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) - it's like a web site but designed for your mobile phone. You access WAP Sites via your mobile phone's browser.
Skinz - Skinz change the look and feel of MXit, whether you're chatting or trading.
GPRS - General Packet Radio Service. This is the data network of your service provider. Each has its own network and charges different rates. The average cost is R2 per MB (megabyte = 1 million characters).
XML format – Extensible Markup Language. This is a simple coding language used to create content for viewing on MXit.
